Built for deep drifts and long driveways. A 70 degree attack angle scrapes clean and back drags well, and InstaLock cylinders bring the wings together into a straight blade at the push of a button.

Straight blade or v-plow?
A straight blade (HD2, HT, SD) pushes and windrows, costs and weighs less, and handles driveways, small lots and roads all winter long.
A v-plow (XV2, XtremeV) breaks through drifts in the V, carries snow in the scoop and still works as a straight blade. If you clear large lots, stack snow or open long private roads, the V pays for itself.
How wide should the blade be?
When a blade is angled, it has to still clear the truck's tires or you drive through your own windrow. That is why full size trucks want 8 feet or more and why HD pickups run 8' to 9' blades.
Wings and scoop mode add coverage without adding width on the road. We size every blade to the truck's track before we order it.
What is the Snow Plow Prep Package?
RPO code VYU on a Sierra HD. It sets the truck up for plow duty from the factory, and Fisher's application guide calls for it on many configurations before a plow can be fitted.

The 10% savings and the package prices apply to Fisher plows purchased with a new 2026 GMC Sierra 2500HD. We install Fisher plows on trucks of any make and any age too; those are quoted separately, so call Sales at 781-936-0081 or send a quote request with your truck's year, make, model and configuration.
Which Fisher plow fits a GMC Sierra 1500?
Most Sierra 1500 pickups take the Fisher HT Series 7'6", which weighs about 417 pounds and is built for half-ton trucks. Heavier half-ton configurations can carry the SD Series. The exact match depends on your cab, engine and front axle rating, so we confirm it against Fisher's application guide before ordering.
Which Fisher plow fits a Sierra 2500HD or 3500HD?
The HD2 in 8' or 8'6" is our most popular straight blade for the Sierra 2500HD, and the 9' HD2 or the HDX suits the 3500HD. If you want a v-plow, the XtremeV and XV2 in 8'6" fit the 2500HD and the XV2 9'6" fits the 3500HD. We recommend ordering any new Sierra HD you plan to plow with the Snow Plow Prep Package.
How much does a Fisher plow cost installed?
Our current Sierra 2500HD packages start at $10,307.70 installed for the 8' HD2 and run to $13,833.00 for the 8'6" stainless XV2, each 10% below Fisher retail when purchased with a new 2026 Sierra 2500HD. A truck side only installation runs $2,865.60. Plows for other trucks are quoted individually, so call Sales at 781-936-0081 for a number on your truck.
Do you install Fisher plows on trucks that are not GMC, or not bought at Marty's?
Yes to both. We install Fisher plows on Chevrolet, Ford, Ram, Toyota and Jeep trucks as well as GMC, and you do not need to have bought the truck from us. Fisher builds a truck specific mount for each application, and our technicians install them all.
Do you service and repair Fisher plows, and stock parts?
Yes. Our service department handles hydraulic leaks, slow lift or angle, wiring and module faults, controller problems, lighting, cutting edges and trip springs, plus pre-season inspections, at 781-349-5196. Our parts counter stocks Fisher wear items such as cutting edges, trip springs, hydraulic fluid, hoses, solenoids, headlamps and controllers, and can order anything else in the Fisher catalog, at 781-349-7013. Both are open Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings.
What is the difference between the Fisher HD2 and the XV2?
The HD2 is a straight blade: one moldboard that angles left and right, lighter and less expensive, and ideal for driveways, lots and roads. The XV2 is a v-plow with two wings that form a V to break through drifts, a scoop to carry snow and a straight blade when you need one. Contractors clearing large lots usually choose the XV2, while most homeowners and many fleets are well served by the HD2.
What is Minute Mount 2?
Minute Mount 2 is Fisher's attachment system. The plow waits on its own stand, you drive the truck into it, connect the plugs and lock it in place, and you are ready to go. It is fully mechanical, with no electronics in the mount itself, and the same system runs across the Fisher truck plow line, so one plow can move to your next truck.
Should I order my new Sierra HD with the Snow Plow Prep Package?
Yes, if you plan to plow with it. The Snow Plow Prep Package (RPO code VYU) prepares the truck for plow duty from the factory, and Fisher's fit guide calls for it on many Sierra HD configurations. We can order your truck with it and have the Fisher package installed before delivery.
Can I include the plow in my truck financing?
Ask our sales team while you are working out the truck deal. A Fisher package installed at delivery can often be included in the vehicle financing, so there is one payment for the truck and the plow.
How soon can I have a plow installed?
It depends on the time of year. Installation appointments fill up fast once the first forecast mentions snow, so the earlier you book, the sooner your slot. Pre-season is also the best time for an inspection on a plow you already own. Call Sales at 781-936-0081 for current scheduling.
